Job Description

-Identify and recommend trends ensuring applicability (Cost X Benefits).
-Design and develop manufacturing processes to achieve process capability on production products and new program launches.
-Implement organization projects.
-Guide technical work teams and other functions, with a focus to achieve results.
-Thorough understanding of ISO/TS 16949, and customer requirements for process capabilities.
-Implement effective instructions and procedures that support and enhance quality of products.
-Lead studies/activities to understand and improve the product/process capabilities.
-Interfaces with plant operations to ensure process quality, improve material flow, reduce work in process, promoting continuous improvements to meet and exceed customer requirements.
-Troubleshoot problems and leads the root cause investigation and the development of effective and permanent corrective action.
-Plans and conduct training and activities for process improvements and maintaining capability.
-Evaluates precision and accuracy of production, test, and measurements equipment through thorough understanding of MSA.
-Actively participate in production meetings providing guidance supported by data analysis;
-Lead scrap reduction efforts/programs and provide analysis of data as support for improvement activities.
-Perform audits in the products and processes to ensure accordance with the customer requirements.
-Provide support to management, quality and manufacturing teams as needed.
