Negotiate contracts with local pharmacy providers. Investigate reimbursement issues. Create custom NDC’s and system support as needed. Ensure the department meets all quality and turnaround time goals. Responsible for all training of assigned employees. Trouble shooot pharmacy rejections and assist customer service CSR’s with real time problem solving Call local pharmacies with Account Management team to troubleshoot processes and issues the pharmacies may be having. Travel to meet with pharmacies that are critical to the clients needs to make sure all is in place to allow the pharmacy to service the hospice to its fullest extent. Manual Claims Processing Contact pharmacies that have billed families directly and have them reprocess the appropriate hospice meds through Hospiscript and at the same time educate them on our process. Work directly with clients that need a pharmacy issues addressed ASAP. Find new pharmacies for hospices in troubled areas by cold calling on pharmacies and coming to agreements with the new providers. Work with corporate offices of the chains to make special arrangements for having needed stock in their pharmacies. Implementing processes with LTC pharmacies to ensure that all billing is done accordingly. Send contract requests to the Catalyst Pharmacy Addition team at Catalyst Send some reimbursement issues to the Provider Relations team at Catalyst that may not be related to our MAC pricing Specific drug pricing as requested from hospice nurses. Participate on all calls that involve the client as it pertains to the implementation of the group Coordinate pharmacy calls to pharmacies for new clients and make sure the blast fax is sent Assist in system supporting special pricing for both client and pharmacies. Complete special projects as assigned.
