Property and Casualty Insurance Customer Service Representative
Review insurance coverage, answer insured/s questions, re-market insurance, prepare proposal, and perform various clerical duties.

• Review quotes with marketing manager and decide which is best for client
• Order coverage from the company as requested by the insured
• Check policies upon receipt for accuracy and order any corrections
• Communicate clients’ changing needs for coverage accurately to carrier
• Negotiating terms with carriers for renewal
• Make changes at renewal and remarket to appropriate companies
• Follow-up with the companies that will be quoting at renewal
• Prepare proposal per the quote
• Issue binders and ID cards
• Prepare policies for delivery to the insured
• Performed other related duties required

• 2-5 years work experience as a CSR in the insurance industry
• Alabama Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Knowledge of personal insurance coverage and terms
• Superior Microsoft Office Skills to include Excel
• Work will in a team environment, offering input when needed
• Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication who completes work in a timely manner
• Can independently ensure customer service needs are addressed effectively
